Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in his next film project ‘Ramayan’ which is being directed by Nitish Tiwari.
Ranbir will play the role of Hindu god Rama, Yash Ravan and Sai Pallavi will play Sita in the film and it is the most sacred story of Hindu religion.
Indian media sources have claimed that the actor has started preparations for the role of ‘Ram’ and has completely stopped consuming alcohol and meat.
According to sources, Ranbir Kapoor wants to keep himself religiously pure for a holy role, so he has given up consumption of meat and alcohol.
The actor has also stopped himself from participating in the nightly dance parties to settle the giant role of ‘Ram’.
The shooting of ‘Ramayan’ will begin next year and the release of the first part of the film is expected by the end of 2024.
