Karachi: Caretaker Minister for Human Rights Umar Soomro has ordered to give show cause notices and stop salaries to 21 employees of the Human Rights Department who have been absent for a long time.
According to the details, Caretaker Law and Human Rights Minister Umar Soomro visited the Human Rights Department office without informing. When he reached the Human Rights Department office, he found the officers and employees absent.
The caretaker minister summoned the attendance register of the employees in which more than half of the officers and employees were absent for a long time, on which Umar Soomro expressed his indignation.
Umar Soomro inquired from a few employees in the department that it is ten o’clock in the morning and the secretary of human rights has not come to the office yet? Why is employee attendance low?
Later, Provincial Minister Umar Soomro ordered to give show cause notices to 21 absent officers and employees and to withhold salaries and directed that the attendance of employees should be 100% while employees should ensure attendance at 9 o’clock. I’ll give it a final warning.
