Rawalpindi: Security forces killed two terrorists while carrying out operations in Dera Ismail Khan and Miranshah areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, security forces conducted the first operation on a tip-off in Kalachi area of Dera Ismail Khan (DI Khan), during which a terrorist named Akram was killed in an exchange of fire.
According to ISPR, the slain terrorist was involved in attacks on security forces.
Security forces conducted a second operation in North Waziristan’s Miranshah area, during which terrorist hideouts were ‘effectively’ targeted. Meanwhile, a terrorist was killed in the exchange of fire, and arms and ammunition were recovered from his possession.
According to the spokesman of the Pakistan Army, the local population in both areas appreciated the timely operation of the forces and assured their full cooperation in ending terrorism.
