State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has released details of workers remittances in the month of September 2023.
According to the SBP statement, workers’ remittances in September were 2 billion 200 million dollars, compared to this, the remittances in August were 11.18 million dollars more.
According to the announcement, in September 2023, $53.80 million was remitted from Saudi Arabia, $39.98 million from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and $31.11 million from the United Kingdom.
According to SBP, the average remittances in the first 3 months of the current financial year were 2.10 billion dollars, while the average remittances in the first 3 months of the financial year 2023 were 2.27 billion dollars.
