Officers ready to give money in exchange for electricity

Islamabad: Free electricity will not be available, the summaries of giving money to the officers of the electricity companies on a unit basis are ready.

Private TV has reported with reference to sources that preparations have been made to give financial facilities to the officials of electricity companies instead of free electricity. According to the sources, it has been recommended to stop providing monthly free units to officers of Grade 17 to Grade 21. The Cabinet Committee on Energy is likely to approve the summary of the Power Division in the upcoming meeting.

By ending the facility of free units, more than 6 billion rupees will be saved annually. Sources say that instead of 450 free units, grade 17 officers will get 15,858 rupees per month, grade 18 officers will get 21,996 rupees instead of 600 free units and grade 19 officers will get 880 per month. It is recommended to give Rs.37,594 instead of free units.

According to the sources, it has been recommended to give 46 thousand 992 rupees instead of 1100 free units to grade 20 officers and 55 thousand 536 rupees instead of 1300 free units to grade 21 officers.

It has been recommended to give 24 thousand 570 rupees to the grade 17 officer of the generation company, 26 thousand 460 rupees to the grade 18 officer and 42 thousand 720 rupees to the grade 19 officer instead of free units.
