The delegation led by US State Department Consul Derek Shule will arrive in Pakistan on February 17.
US State Department Consul Derek Shule will discuss important issues in meetings with senior Pakistani officials during his visit to Pakistan.
The purpose of the arrival of the American high-level delegation is to strengthen Pakistan-US economic relations, increase counter-terrorism cooperation and contribute to cooperation efforts to deal with the effects of the climate crisis.
During his visit, US State Department Consul Derek Shule is likely to meet Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar.
Sources have further informed that a delegation of senior officials of the US Department of State is also expected to meet Army Chief General Asim Munir during their visit.
The US State Department consular delegation along with a high-level delegation will also meet senior government officials, civil society members and business leaders in Islamabad.
The purpose of these meetings is to highlight the importance of bilateral partnership and reaffirm the common goals of both countries.
Earlier, it was stated by the US State Department that the delegation led by David Shule will visit Bangladesh and Pakistan from February 14 to 18.
