Bajaur: The imam of a local mosque was killed by unknown persons in Bajaur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to District Police Officer Bajaur Nazir Khan, the shooting incident took place in Shenkot Khar, where Imam Maulana Talha Muhammad, who was going to the mosque to offer Maghrib prayers, was targeted by unknown persons.
According to Nazir Khan, the deceased was a resident of Shenkot Khar and a supporter of the local mosque. Unknown persons fled from the spot after the incident.
The police, with the help of the rescue agency, transferred the body of Imam Masjid to the hospital for post-mortem, while collecting the evidence from the crime scene.
