Karachi: Shrafi Goth and Quaidabad police during a joint raid on a gutka factory in Moinabad arrested 14 employees of the factory and conducted 16 missions of preparing and packing gutka worth crores of rupees, ready-made packets of gutka and used in the preparation of gutka. Exported other goods.
According to the details, on the information of SSP Malir Tariq Mastoi, SHO Shrafi Goth and SHO Quaidabad along with a heavy contingent of police established the incident in the name of Rajni in Shrafi Goth Moinabad at around 3 o’clock between Monday and Tuesday night. Gutka factory was raided and 14 employees working in the factory were arrested after recovering a large number of gutka manufacturing and packing machines and a huge quantity of gutka.
16 Gutka packing and manufacturing machines for export, large quantity of plastic granules, blisters, chemicals used in Gutka, packets of Rajni Gutka and materials used in Gutka manufacturing, were seized.
SSP Malir says that the machines and goods being exported are worth crores of rupees, investigations are being conducted on whether the arrested suspects include any owner of the factory, while who are involved in this heinous business in the factory. They are also being investigated.
