There is no malice involved in Parvez Elahi’s case, police officers said
Lahore: DIG Operations and DIG Investigation apologized for not bringing PTI President and former Chief Minister Punjab Parvez Elahi home after his release.
In the Lahore High Court, a contempt of court petition was heard for Parvez Elahi’s failure to recognize his home safely.
DIG Operations and DIG Investigation filed a reply in the Lahore High Court and sought an unconditional apology from the court.
Both the officers replied that Pervez Elahi was arrested by Islamabad Police and Islamabad Judicial Magistrate issued arrest warrant for Pervez Elahi, there is no malice involved in his case.
It should be noted that Parvez Elahi’s wife Qaisara Elahi has filed a contempt of court petition.
