10 people were killed and many injured in an explosion near a mosque in Mastung before the procession of Milad-ul-Nabi.
According to the authorities, it was initially reported that several people were injured in the explosion in the market. According to Assistant Commissioner Mastung, the blast took place near the Madinah Mosque, where people were gathering to participate in the Eid Milad-ul-Nabi procession.
10 people died and 40 were injured in the blast. According to the police, DSP Mustang police are also among the dead.

Officials say that people were supposed to participate in the procession after gathering from Madina Masjid. As soon as the explosion was reported, security forces and rescue teams reached the spot from where the injured are being shifted to Nawab Ghous Bakhsh Hospital.

According to the authorities, a state of emergency has been imposed in the hospitals of Mustang. According to hospital sources, the condition of some of the injured is critical, due to which the death toll is expected to increase. After the explosion, apart from Mustang, emergency has also been declared in Civil Hospital of Quetta.
According to the hospital authorities, all doctors, pharmacists, nurses and paramedical staff have been called on emergency duty.
According to caretaker provincial information minister John Achakzai, rescue teams have been sent to Mustang on the instructions of the Balochistan government. The seriously injured are being shifted to Quetta and emergency has been declared in the hospitals. He said that explosion in Mustang is unbearable. With foreign blessings, the enemy wants to destroy religious tolerance and peace in Balochistan.
