Karachi;  In the murder case of 5 people, the appeal of 2 accused was accepted, the order of acquittal

Karachi: The Sindh High Court accepted the appeals against the sentences of 2 accused in the murder case of 5 persons and ordered acquittal.

A 2-member bench headed by Justice KK Agha gave its verdict on the appeal against the sentences of 2 accused Sultan alias Jabal and Arif alias Mama involved in the murder case of 5 persons. The court ordered to acquit the accused giving benefit of doubt.

The court said in the verdict that the main witness did not appear before the court for 3 years. There are discrepancies in the statements of the witnesses. The accused should be released if they are not involved in any other case. Plaintiff Navy officials had told the police in a statement that the accused had killed my 2 brothers Javed, Ismail, maternal uncle Taj Muhammad and 2 cousins ​​Shoaib and Faisal.

The plaintiff had further said in the statement that I received information over the phone that the dead bodies of my relatives have reached the civil hospital. According to the prosecution, the accused Sultan alias Jabal and Arif alias Mama were sentenced to life imprisonment and fines by the subordinate court. The accused belong to the Lyari gang war, which used to spread terror in the area. On March 10, 2014, the accused along with their accomplices killed 5 people in Mochko police station.
