Karachi: Five armed suspects raided a Saraf factory on Sadar Abdullah Haroon Road.
The armed accused escaped with more than 45 lakhs. The police have obtained the CCTV footage of the robbery in which the five accused are seen looting and escaping from Saraf’s factory.
One accused escaped on a motorcycle and the rest of his accomplices escaped on foot. According to the police, the accused committed the crime on the first floor of China Shopping Center on Abdullah Haroon Road.
The five accused first ransacked the shopping center and then reached the first floor with weapons. The accused, dressed in shalwar kameez, stormed into the Saraf factory and took the factory employees hostage and escaped with Rs 45 lakh.
Police say that the owner of the Saraf factory has contacted and has also obtained the CCTV footage, so far it has not been possible to identify the accused.
