After the nullification of the NAB amendments, the records of more references were presented in the accountability courts

Rawalpindi, Islamabad: The implementation of the decision to nullify the NAB amendments is ongoing, while the process of submitting records to the accountability courts has been accelerated.

The records of 13 NAB references have been presented in the Rawalpindi accountability court, while the court has summoned the complete records of the remaining 9 references on Saturday. All references will be re-opened on submission of complete 22 reference records.

The court has fixed tomorrow, Saturday, September 23, for hearing the request to open the reference and issue notice to the accused. According to NAB Prosecutor Sardar Tahir, we will submit the records of all the remaining 9 references today.

On the other hand, the process of submitting records of 80 references under hearing in the accountability courts of Islamabad will continue today. The records of 26 references were submitted to the accountability court by NAB yesterday.

According to sources, records of more than 20 references are likely to be submitted today. Among the references submitted yesterday, the record of references of former Prime Ministers Yusuf Raza Gilani, Raja Pervez Ashraf was also included. Apart from this, the records of Farzana Raah, Rubina Khalid and other references were also submitted to the court. The court has summoned the accused by issuing summons.

NAB is also likely to submit Tosha Khana reference records against Yousuf Raza Gilani, Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari. According to sources, notices will be issued after checking the records submitted by NAB.
