Canada-based Punjabi singer Shobh has been facing heavy criticism from social media users and members of BJP’s youth wing Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).
According to Indian media reports, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) wants to cancel the concert of Indian-Canadian singer for supporting Khalistani elements.
According to media reports, Canadian Punjabi singer Shubneet Singh aka Shobh had shared a picture of Indian map on his Instagram some time ago, in which the state of Punjab and Haryana were shown in black and asked to pray for Punjab. was
It may be noted that Shobha was scheduled to perform at the Cruise Control 4.0 event held at Cordelia Cruises in Mumbai. According to Indian media, apart from Mumbai, he was also scheduled to perform in various concerts in different cities of the country including Bengaluru and New Delhi.
However, now Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) president Tajinder Singh Towana has demanded the cancellation of singer’s visit to India.
According to him, those who support Khalistan have no place in India, they are enemies of the integrity and unity of the country. We will not allow Shobha to perform in Mumbai.
He further said that if no proper action is taken against the singer, the organizers will face our opposition.
On the other hand, the Indian company that provided sponsorship to the Canadian Punjabi singer has announced to withdraw the sponsorship.
