New York: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar has said that Pakistan is suffering from severe problems due to climate change.
While speaking at the Leaders’ Dialogue held at the United Nations Headquarters, caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq said that tackling the challenges of climate change is one of Pakistan’s priorities.
He said that Pakistan started the project regarding the Indus River, also made plans related to the early warning system, by 2030, Pakistan will use 60% alternative energy sources.

Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar said that everyone should play their role against global warming as part of global efforts to prevent global warming.
On the other hand, the Caretaker Prime Minister had a sideline meeting with the Managing Director of the IMF in which he emphasized on enhancing our mutual commitment to promote economic stability and growth in Pakistan.
