Turkish President's offer to mediate on Kashmir issue

New York: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said in his address to the United Nations General Assembly that Pakistan and India should discuss the Kashmir issue.

Addressing the 78th session of the UN Assembly, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that resolving the Kashmir issue will bring economic stability to the region.

He said that in order to increase cooperation between India and Pakistan, it is important that both countries sit down and discuss the issue of Kashmir and resolve this issue so that peace is established in Kashmir and it is in the interest of both countries.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that we are ready to play the role of mediator during the talks between Pakistan and India.
