Lahore: Oil Marketing Company Association said that there is no petroleum product crisis in the country at present.
Chairman of Oil Marketing Company Association, Tariq Wazir Ali, while holding a press conference in his office, said that there is no crisis of petroleum products in the country at present, if the government improves its policy, it will not face any crisis in the future. .
He said that the government has to solve the issue of LCs and dollars soon, the oil marketing companies have decided to crackdown with the government agencies against hoarders.
Tariq Wazir Ali said that the country has a monthly consumption of 14 lakh tons of petroleum products, which all resources are being used to meet. Artificial stockpiling in Makkah caused a shortage of petroleum products which has been removed.
He said that there are more than 10,000 petrol pumps across the country where 14 lakh tons of petroleum products are used every month. It is necessary for any oil company to keep twenty days of stock.
