A two-member committee has been formed to show the proceedings of the Supreme Court live

Islamabad: Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa formed a committee consisting of two judges on the issue of live broadcasting of Supreme Court proceedings.

According to sources, the Chief Justice has formed a two-member committee comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Athar Minullah, which will submit a report on the procedure for showing the proceedings of the cases live.

According to the sources, the judges committee has been instructed to complete the task in a week. The committee will present its report in the next Judges Full Court meeting.

It should be noted that the entire proceedings of the Practice and Procedure Act in the Supreme Court were telecasted live from morning to evening on government TV and this was the first time in the history of Pakistan.
