East Police arrested 4 dacoits with injuries after an encounter near University Road, Safora Chowrangi and Bahadurabad.
Police have arrested 2 motorcycle lifters from Malir Shah Latif and recovered 3 stolen motorcycles and many accessories of motorcycles in open condition.
According to SSP East Zubair Nazir Sheikh, a robber was arrested with serious injuries after an encounter near Expo Center on University Road.
The mobile phone and the bag of the student taken from the arrested injured suspect have been found, the injured suspect has been shifted to the hospital.
On the other hand, near Safora Chowrangi, the police arrested the robber Gul Rahim in an injured state after the encounter.
During the last 24 hours, East Police has arrested 4 accused in 3 encounters with injuries, the encounters took place in University Road, Safora Chowrangi and Bahadurabad.
According to the police, 2 motorcycle lifters were arrested from Shah Latif area, Irfan alias Bali and Shahid are among the arrested accused.
Weapons and 3 stolen motorcycles were recovered from the arrested accused, 4 fuel tanks of the motorcycle and 6 open engines and 6 head cylinders were recovered from the accused.
The accused are being interrogated regarding the incidents of motorcycle theft.
