The ban on registration of private educational institutions in Sindh has been lifted

Karachi: The Provincial Education and Literacy Department has lifted the ban on the registration of private educational institutions and has also set rules and regulations for the registration of schools.

According to the Education Department, pre-primary elementary schools established in the province and suburban areas of the city will be built on a plot of at least 200 yards, while for posh areas with 400 yards, these school buildings will have at least 10 Rooms must be RCC building.

Secondary O and A level schools and these school buildings must have minimum 15 rooms with a minimum plot size of 400 yards for those B areas and 600 yards for city posh areas.

Apart from this, an illustrated map of the building, a science lab equipped with necessary equipment and materials, a computer lab, adequate number of relevant books inside the library, canteen, clean drinking water, clean washrooms, CCTV cameras, and boundary walls are also mandatory requirements. .
