ANF arrested 4 accused in the operation
Quetta: The Anti-Narcotics Force recovered more than 2,000 kg of hashish from the secret compartments of the truck in an operation.
According to the spokesperson of ANF, a major operation against drug trafficking was carried out on Western Bypass near Mangalabad Quetta. Meanwhile, more than 2 tons of drugs were recovered from the truck and 4 drug smugglers were arrested.
2,330 kg of hashish was hidden in secret boxes built into the truck-mounted cement mixture machine. During the operation, a small vehicle was also caught along with the truck, in which 2 suspects were getting the truck route cleared as a facilitator. During the operation, a total of 4 suspects were arrested in a car and a truck, who belong to Qila Abdullah, Quetta and Chaman.
The accused were trying to smuggle drugs through Chaman to Quetta inside Sindh. A case has been registered against the arrested accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act. The accused are being interrogated to arrest other members of the gang.
