Karachi: Two alleged robbers were killed and one injured in the firing of a car driver near Jama Cloth Market. According to eyewitnesses, the alleged motorcycle-riding robbers were fleeing after robbing the car driver and his family.
According to the details, the car rider shot 3 motorcycle-riding robbers near MC School of Jama Cloth Market within the limits of Aram Bagh police station and escaped after stopping at the spot for some time. Hearing the sound of firing, a large number of residents of Burns Road reached the spot, while the police of Aram Bagh police station also reached the spot.
Meanwhile, one of the robbers had succumbed to his injuries, the dead body of the alleged robber was in the police mobile while the injured robbers were taken to the civil hospital in Edhi ambulance, one of the two injured robbers was treated for a few hours. After the struggle, he died of his injuries, while the condition of the third bandit is also said to be critical.
According to the eyewitnesses, a pistol and 125 motorcycles found with the robbers were seized by the police. The eyewitness said that the car rider turned towards MA Jinnah Road from Fresco’s signal on Shaara Liaquat, then at a short distance, the motorcyclist stopped him with a weapon and robbed the family in the car and sat on his motorcycle. MA started fleeing towards Jinnah Road. Meanwhile, the car driver chased them and opened fire near KMC school.
According to the eyewitnesses, the car driver had fired 8 shots, two robbers fell in front of Ain Jama Halim while the third robber fell down in front of Eidgah Market some distance away. The car driver got down and searched the robbers and took back his stolen goods from them and fled with the family in his car.
According to the police, who was the citizen in the car who fired, the help of CCTV cameras is being taken for further investigation of the incident.
