Despite the recovery of 17 billion debt to PIA, Umrah pilgrims and travelers were left

Karachi: Despite the recovery of 17 billion loan from PIA by the banks, the national airline’s flight operations are still partially affected, leaving Umrah pilgrims and other passengers stranded.

Several flights of the national airline have been canceled with several others being rescheduled while several flights have been delayed, disrupting the routine of passengers.

2 flights PK 501 and PK 502 to and from Karachi to Turbat, similarly 2 up and down flights to Karachi Lahore PK 302 and PK 303 have been cancelled. The flights PK 368 and 369 from Karachi to Islamabad and back were also cancelled, while 2 flights PK 336 and PK 337 from Karachi to Sukkur and Sukkur to Karachi were also cancelled. Apart from these, flight PK 340 from Karachi to Faisalabad and PK 341 from Faisalabad to Karachi were also cancelled.

PIA flight PK 741 from Islamabad to Jeddah was delayed by 4 and a half hours.

PK 601 from Islamabad to Gilgit was also delayed. PK 301 from Islamabad to Karachi was delayed by two and a half hours, while PK 725 from Lahore to Riyadh was delayed by three hours.

According to sources, PK 605 from Islamabad to Gilgit will leave 50 minutes before the scheduled time. Flight PK 325 from Islamabad to Quetta is delayed by one hour and 20 minutes. Flight PK 509 from Islamabad to Turbat is delayed by one to one and a half hours, while flight PK 310 from Karachi to Quetta is delayed by 2 hours.

Flight PK 300 to Islamabad was delayed by two and a half hours. Flight PK 168 from Multan to Al Qasim and PK 221 to Dubai were delayed by 2, 2 hours. PIA flight PK 739 from Multan was scheduled to depart for Jeddah at 12 pm last night, where the plane was not available to take Umrah pilgrims who were in Ihram at the airport to Jeddah.
