Karachi: During the operation Chakiwara police arrested one of the suspects and recovered a huge amount of smuggled Iranian petrol.
Chakiwara police recovered a large amount of illegally smuggled Iranian petrol during the raid, according to the spokesman SSP City Amjad Hayat, Chakiwara police recovered more than 790 liters of illegal Iranian petrol and petrol machine nozzles during the operation.
On seeing the action of the police, one of the accused managed to escape from the spot, the absconding accused has been identified as Yasin.
The absconding accused had been selling Iranian petrol illegally near Payala Hotel for a long time. An investigation has been started.
