State Bank of Pakistan has increased interest rate on Naya Pakistan Certificates.
According to the announcement of the State Bank of Pakistan, the yield on 3-month dollar bills has been increased by 125 basis points to 8.25 percent.
The yield on 3-month British Pound Bills increased by 175 basis points to 7.25%, the yield on 3-month Euro NPCs increased by 225 basis points to 6.25%.
Pakistan Rupee 3-month NPCs gain 6% to 21%, 6-month Dollar NPCs gain 130 basis points to 8.5%, 12-month NPCs gain 150 basis points to 9% has been done.
The State Bank says that overseas Pakistanis can invest at least $1,000 in NPCs, with 3- and 5-year NPCs yielding 8.8 percent.
The 6-month Pound Sterling NPCs yield increased by 150 basis points to 7.50%, the 12-month Pound Sterling NPCs yield increased by 100 basis points to 8%.
The 6-month Euro NPCs yield increased 200 basis points to 6.5 percent, the 12-month Euro NPCs yield increased 200 basis points to 7 percent.
Yields on 3- and 5-year Sterling and Euro NPCs remain unchanged at 7.5 and 6.5 percent.
The 6-month Rupee NPCs yield has been increased by 600 basis points to 21.25 percent, the 12-month Rupee NPCs yield has been increased by 600 basis points to 21.50 percent.
The 3-year Rupee NPCs yield increased by 350 basis points to 17.5 percent while the 5-year Rupee NPCs yield increased by 150 basis points to 15 percent.
