Multan Sultans continue to bat in pursuit of the target

Multan: Chasing a target of 176 runs against Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans have scored 92 runs in 11 overs without loss.

In the opening match of the eighth edition of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Lahore Qalandars batted first at the invitation of Multan Sultans and scored 175 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Fakhar Zaman scored 66 runs for Lahore Qalandars. Mirza Tahir Baig scored 32, Hussain Talat scored 20 and Shai Hope scored 19 runs.

Sikandar Raza returned to the pavilion not out after scoring 19 runs.

On behalf of Multan Sultans, Ehsanullah and Osama Mir took 2,2 wickets while Aqeel Hussain and Shahnawaz Durmani took 1,1 wickets.
