New Delhi: 11 people were killed when an out-of-control truck plowed into bus passengers in India.
According to Indian media, an uncontrolled truck rammed into a bus in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur region, killing 11 people.
According to officials, the bus from Rajasthan to Uttar Pradesh was standing on a bridge due to running out of fuel. Some passengers, including the driver, got off the bus and were standing when a speeding truck ran over them. 12 people were also injured in the accident. The bodies and the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
Among the dead are 6 women. There is a chance in increase of casualties. The police have registered an FIR and started investigation into the accident.
