Security officials in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania have warned residents to stay indoors and lock their vehicles as a fugitive killer who has been on the run for nearly two weeks in the southeastern part of the state is armed.
According to US media, the Pennsylvania State Police posted on X that police are pursuing Danilo Souza Cavalcante in South Coventry Township. The public is asked to call 911 immediately wherever Danilo is seen and not to come in contact with him.
All schools and offices in the area are planned to be closed for the day and students in other areas should be kept indoors. The police have closed the roads in the search area while the law enforcement officers are stopping and checking all the vehicles leaving the area by blocking the road.
On the other hand, the state and federal authorities admitted that the security agencies missed the opportunity to capture Danilo, but efforts are on to capture him as soon as possible.
