The injuries of Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf in the Super Four stage match against India in the Asia Cup added to the worries of the Pakistan cricket team.
Yesterday, Pakistan defeated India by a huge margin of 228 runs in the important match of the Asia Cup. Haris Rauf bowled 5 overs while Naseem Shah bowled 9.2 overs and left the field.
The decision to participate in the Asia Cup will be made after assessing the injuries of the two bowlers, however, sources have claimed that both the fast bowlers of the green shirts may be out before the important match against Sri Lanka.

Pakistan has called up Shahnawaz Dhani and Zaman Khan as backups to Naseem Shah and Haris.

On the other hand, the team management will request a replacement from the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) technical committee only in this case.

There is a strong possibility that Haris and Naseem will miss Pakistan’s final Super 4 match against Sri Lanka on Thursday and whether or not the two bowlers will be part of the playing XI if Pakistan qualifies for the finals.
At the end of the match, the head coach of the national team, Grant Bradburn, said that Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah are taking precautionary measures to avoid major injuries before the mega event.
