Lahore: It has been revealed that a foreign mobile phone company is involved in gas theft, against which a case has been registered.
According to the Sui Northern Gas Company, following a report of gas theft, it was discovered that a mobile phone tower generator in the Kirk area was being powered by the stolen gas.
The mobile company was stealing gas directly from the main gas line. The gas was being stolen through a 200 feet pipe. Sui Northern disconnected the illegal connection, seized the generator and the pipe and filed an FIR against the company.
It should be noted that the mobile phone tower is owned by a foreign mobile phone company.
