Chennai: Actor and filmmaker of Tamil industry’s blockbuster movie ‘Jailor’ G. Mari Mithu passed away due to heart problem.
The South Indian Artists Association has expressed grief in its social media post confirming the death of the 57-year-old actor.
According to media sources, Mari Mithu was dubbing for a Tamil TV serial when his condition worsened and he was rushed to the hospital where he could not survive.
Mari Mithu directed two films ‘Kanam Kanam’ and ‘Paliwal’ starring popular actor Prasanna.
Well-known personalities of the Tamil industry have expressed their grief over the sudden death of the actor and termed it as a great loss.
