Karachi: Another citizen was killed for resisting during a robbery in Shahr Quaid, after which the number of civilians killed by robbers this year has increased to 96.
Bandits shot and killed a young man on resistance while looting near Jhangvi Chowk Ahmed Medical in Baldia Ittihad Town. The body of the deceased was taken to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem, where it was identified as 20-year-old Muzamil, who was shot in the arm and near the rib.
According to initial reports, the young man was closing the shop and the bandits killed him by firing on resistance while looting and fled the scene.
Meanwhile, 36-year-old Sajid was injured in a firing incident near Gulshan Qadri Society Abubakar Masjid in Malir City, and was taken to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment. According to the Malir City Police, the cause of the shooting and the suspects could not be determined immediately, however, the police are conducting further investigations.
