During the hearing of the case of gas theft of more than 6 crore 78 lakh rupees against a factory in Faisalabad in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, Justice Qazi Faiz Isa got angry with the lawyers and said that how can the lawyers strike? The license of such advocates should be revoked.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Qazi Faiz Isa dismissed the appeal of the factory.
During the hearing, Justice Qazi Faiz Isa expressed indignation at the mention of lawyers not appearing 2 to 3 times due to strike in the order of the trial court.
He remarked that this code of conduct is self-made by lawyers who do not follow it themselves, such judges should also be removed who write on the order that lawyers are on strike.
Justice Qazi Faiz Isa said that why the lawyers are on strike has not been told, did the court pick up the lawyer from home?
They say that whoever wants to go on strike at will, close such court system again, the whole system has been damaged.
Justice Qazi Faiz Isa further says that if every man does his own work, the system of the country can be improved, the entire system of Pakistan runs on technicality.
He has also said that we go according to the constitution and law in the court, justice is done by the superior, the law of conduct is made by the lawyers themselves, not by the judges or the parliament, if there is a lawyer’s mistake, the client should not be punished.
