Urwa Hussain further said that the Indian team is not playing properly in the tournament, so India is satisfied with the rain affecting the matches, which is against the international sports spirit.
India’s crucial match against Pakistan on September 2 was rained out and both teams were divided by one point each. Apart from this, the match between India and Nepal in Group A match of Asia Cup on September 4 was also rained out. In this match, India was declared the winner under the Duckworth-Louis-Stern Method (DLS) and entered the Super Four stage.
Pakistan is the host of this year’s Asia Cup tournament, but the Indian cricket team decided not to come to Pakistan for the matches, due to which only 4 out of 13 matches are being played in Pakistan while the rest are being played in Sri Lanka.
