The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has established check posts on the routes connecting Pakistan and Azad Kashmir to control smuggling between Pakistan and Azad Kashmir.
According to the notification issued by FBR, check posts have been established on the two highways connecting Azad Kashmir with Pakistan, Kohala Bridge and Mangala Bridge.
The check post established at Kohala Bridge via Muzaffarabad will be supported by two mobile teams. The jurisdiction of the Kohala Bridge Check Post will be from Murree Expressway, GT Road and Bhurban Road to Bara Kahu.
Similarly, the jurisdiction of Nakudar check post established on Mangala Road connecting Mirpur to Punjab will be up to Mangala Road, Deena Bypass, GT Road Jhelum and Kalrasydan towards Dhangali. This check post will be staffed by a mobile team.
