Lahore:Due to continuous rain in Colombo, it has been decided to shift all the matches of the Asia Cup Super Four stage to Hambantota.

A formal announcement will be made soon by the Asian Cricket Council. According to the sources, the scheduled matches of the Super Four phase in Sri Lanka, which is scheduled to start from September 9, will now be played in Hambantota instead of Colombo.

In view of continuous rains in Colombo, after consulting the Asian Cricket Council and the Sri Lanka Board, the PCB has also expressed its willingness to shift the matches to Hambantota.

It has also been agreed to shift the matches from Colombo after discussing logistical issues with the broadcasters. The main match in the Super Four stage is against Pakistan on September 10, in which the likely opponent will be India.
