Taking to the photo and video sharing platform Instagram, Saira Banu recently rekindled the memories of the past on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan and revealed that late Lata Mangeshkar used to tie rakhi to late Dilip Kumar every year.
She also shared a few pictures and a video in which the singer can be seen performing the ritual of tying Rakhi on her brother Dilip Kumar’s wrist.
Along with this, Saira Banu also shared a long post in which she called both of them the lights of the Indian film industry and told how Dilip Kumar encouraged Lata Mangeshkar to learn Urdu language.
He wrote that the two siblings felt comfortable traveling from home to work in Mumbai’s Lifeline i.e. local trains.
He said that during this trip, Dilip Kumar often urged Lata Mangeshkar to master the Urdu language. changes.
