According to Turkish media, 12 people involved were detained as a result of the investigation into the collapse of residential buildings touching the sky instead of withstanding the shocks of the earthquake.

Arrest warrants have also been issued for 29 people for not taking precautionary measures to prevent earthquakes in construction and for violating construction laws. Police are conducting raids.
