A tiger that came to Shaara Faisal in Karachi was caught by the rescue team, the owner was arrested

Karachi: A pet tiger came out on the road in Shahr-e-Faisal area of ​​Shahr Quaid, which was rescued by wildlife officials and shifted to a safe place while the police arrested the owner.

A pet tiger was spotted by citizens patrolling the footpath near Ayesha Bwani College on the busiest road of Shahr-e-Faisal in the evening. Seeing the lion, the people were scared and there was a commotion while the people in the cars on Shaara Faisal also stopped and tried to make a video of the scene.

Meanwhile, the tiger also attacked a citizen who was trying to make a video, in which he was fortunately unharmed.

Sindh Wildlife teams reached the spot to rescue the tiger, while a heavy contingent of police also cordoned off the area and closed it for traffic.

Later, the expert team of the wildlife department rescued the tiger and put it in a cage and then shifted it to the office while the police traced the owner and then contacted and called him on the spot and arrested him.

The owner told police that the tiger, which was a pet tiger that could not be harmed, got out of the vehicle while it was being moved. The police arrested the owner on the spot and issued a legal notice.

Sindh Wildlife Department official Javed Mehr said that keeping tigers in residential areas is prohibited under wildlife laws.

Caretaker Chief Minister’s Notice

Earlier, the Caretaker Chief Minister Sindh Justice (R) Maqbool Baqir, taking notice of the case of tiger on Faisal highway, directed the wildlife department to send its expert team to the spot and ordered the user to catch the tiger as soon as possible.

The chief minister has also called for an inquiry report from the wildlife regarding the keeping of the tiger in the residential area and has asked under which law and with whose permission the tiger has been kept in the residential area.
