Birmingham: An investigation has been launched against another nurse after Lucy Letby was sentenced to life in prison for killing newborns in the UK’s intensive care unit by lethal injection.

According to British media, this nurse is being investigated for the mysterious deaths of three newborns at Birmingham Children’s Hospital in May of last year, whose deaths apparently had no medical cause.

The children’s families in Birmingham have been informed of the launch of an NHS investigation into the 28-year-old nurse, who has not been identified at this stage.

According to The Telegraph, the nurse has been arrested on suspicion of administering or injecting poison with the intention of endangering the lives of at least three newborns during her working days at a Birmingham hospital.

It should be noted that the investigation against the said nurse was initiated last year when the condition of a newborn suddenly and unexpectedly worsened in the children’s ICU and could not be taken care of.

The child died a few days later, on which the hospital administration also conducted an inquiry and suspended a nurse, who has now been arrested by the police from home.

It should be remembered that just a week ago, nurse Lucy Letby, who killed 7 newborn babies in the United Kingdom by giving poisonous injections, has been sentenced to life imprisonment.
