Renowned Indian director and filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri called Bollywood stars stupid.
Vivek Agnihotri is an unabashed critic of Bollywood and recently he has once again maintained his style.
During a recent interview, he said that he often finds Bollywood films silly because of the actors in them.
He said that due to some less intelligent and less talented actors, his career was threatened to such an extent that he thought of quitting the film industry.
Vivek said during the podcast that I felt that the actors I was working with were uneducated and had no understanding of the world.
Declaring himself better than these actors, he said that I am smarter than them and my chronology is much better than these actors.
He said that the stupidity of these actors was leading me towards degradation. They are so stupid that they take you down with them.
He said that the low talent of the actors creates a negative impression among the viewers about the film, its director and writer etc.
He said that the success of the film depends more on the actors than the directors. So, because of such lesser talented stars, I mentally separated myself from Bollywood.
Explaining the reason behind the decline of South Indian films of Bollywood, he said that people are very intelligent, Bollywood is showing the same content in films, so how will people watch such films?
It should be noted that Vivek Agnihotri did not name any actor during the podcast.
