Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan leader Dr. Farooq Sattar says that after 15 days, why is the stomach of the People’s Party convulsing?
Speaking to the media after meeting with the Chief Election Commissioner at the Election Commission Islamabad, Farooq Sattar asked whether the People’s Party did not know that there would be new constituencies if the results of the census were accepted.
Farooq Sattar further said that why did the People’s Party accept the results of the census in the Council of Common Interests?
It should be noted that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had invited Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Jamaat-e-Islami for consultation on general elections and new constituencies.
ECP had written separate letters to MQM convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq regarding participation in the consultation process.
