Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that the government has given permission to arrest former finance minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senator Shaukat Tareen.
During a press conference in Karachi, Rana Sanaullah said that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had sought permission to arrest Shaukat Tareen.
He said that the inquiry against Shaukat Tareen was completed, the former finance minister should be punished. Their actions could cause economic damage to Pakistan.
The interior minister further said that it was Imran Khan who seduced a man like Shaukat Tareen, the real thief is Imran Niazi, he was dismissed before the country defaulted.
He said that Imran Khan is campaigning to cause political instability in the country, if this happens, there will be no economic stability in the country.
Rana Sanaullah also said that the country is facing challenges related to economic and peace and order, unless there is political stability, there can be no economic stability, the government should complete its term.
He said that we are working day and night for the development of Pakistan, some politicians are pushing their dirty agenda.

Rana Sanaullah said that Sheikh Rasheed is talking nonsense without thinking, if he takes retaliatory action, another case will be filed.
He said that Imran Khan forcibly dissolved 2 assemblies, we are ready whether the election is in April or October.

He said that Imran Khan’s wife took diamonds from Tosha Khana while Farah Gogi transferred 12 billion rupees abroad.
