Awami National Party (ANP) spokesperson Zahid Khan demanded action against those who use free electricity.
In a statement issued from Islamabad, Zahid Khan said that people’s pockets are being cheated due to fuel adjustment and other surcharges.
He said that in this worst storm of inflation, the purchasing power of the people has responded, action should be taken against the institutions and individuals who use free electricity.
The ANP spokesperson further said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is being deprived of the net profit of electricity and its own electricity.
He said that even the amount due to the center is not being paid in terms of net hydel profit, only meetings and statements will not do anything, relief should be given to the people.
Zahid Khan said that ANP has come out in the field, protests will be held in different areas tomorrow.
