How much would an ad written by Steve Jobs for the Apple One computer sell for?

A handwritten advertisement by Apple founder Steve Jobs has been put up for auction for a hefty sum, along with two other items up for sale.

It’s always interesting how things of historical significance when put up for sale often fetch quite high prices, with Steve Jobs’ handwritten ad for the Apple One computer fetching a whopping 1.4 million. Offered for auction in exchange for

RR Auctions, a subsidiary of Boosts, described the product as “a very neat black-illuminated advertisement on an off-white binder sheet, written on a rough draft for the Apple One in 1976.” “

In the advertisement, Jobs mentioned the technical aspects of the computer, stating that the device used the 6501 and 6502 microprocessors.


It is also said to include all power supplies, 8K bytes of RAM, according to the auction house, other items available with the ad include two Polaroids of a working prototype.

Apple historian Corey Cohen, regarding the technical specifications of the ad offered for sale, said it clearly matched the original advertisement for the Apple One.
