Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan declared transparent elections impossible without new constituencies.
The main meeting of the coordination committee of MQM Pakistan was held at Pakistan House, which was presided over by party convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
According to MQM spokesperson, Senior Deputy Convenor Mustafa Kamal, Dr. Farooq Sattar and Deputy Convenors participated in the meeting.
According to the party spokesperson, the current political situation of the country was reviewed in the coordination committee meeting.
The coordination committee said that the new constituencies after the census are necessary for transparent and fair elections.
According to the coordination committee, it is not possible to hold transparent general elections without new constituencies.
It was decided in the meeting that MQM Pakistan will take constitutional and legal route for constituencies.
