Due to non-discharge of gas in the sewer line near Lasbila Numan Mosque, a loud explosion occurred, resulting in 9 people injured, 3 of them are in critical condition.
According to the details, on Friday around 2 pm near Lasbela Chowk due to lack of gas release in the gas line, a loud explosion occurred, the sound of which was heard half a kilometer away. The explosion was so intense that people came out of their houses and shops and there was a stampede.
As a result of the explosion, 9 people were injured who were rescued and transferred to the civil hospital, the ground collapsed due to the explosion, while hotels, shops and vehicles were damaged and a Suzuki pickup jumped on the car.
K Electric immediately reached the spot and disconnected the light to prevent any further loss of life while the PMT was also partially damaged. The traffic police closed a road for traffic for the rescue so that there is no problem in the operation.
The eyewitness said that one person is missing from the scene for which the operation was intensified but no one was found.
The shopkeepers say that the sewer line is 500 kilometers long, earlier there were holes made in it for gas release, later the shopkeepers came and extended the shops due to which there was no way for the gas to be released and today there was an explosion and we have suffered a loss. But who will fix it now?
The rescue says that among the injured are Naseeruddin, Arif, Usman, Khurram, Laldin, Muhammad Ejaz, Hafeez, Mansoor and one unknown person. Doctors say that the condition of 3 is critical who have suffered burns.
Due to the closure of Lasbela road, queues of vehicles were formed.
