After Lionel Messi, who won the World Cup for Argentina, many Turkish footballers, including Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo, came forward to help millions of people affected by the devastating earthquakes in Syria and Turkey.
According to foreign media reports, Portugal’s star striker Cristiano Ronaldo’s jersey has been sold for 2,212,450 dollars (more than 57.2 million rupees), which he will donate to the earthquake victims.
Earlier, Merah Demirel, the player of Turkey and Football Club Atlanta, requested many footballers, including Lionel Messi, to donate their personal jerseys for the victims of the devastating earthquake.

Yesterday, Argentina captain Lionel Messi announced a donation of 3.5 million euros (1 billion one crore seven million) through his foundation.
On the other hand, the Union of European Football Associations has also donated about 214,000 dollars to support humanitarian efforts in Turkey and Syria.
