Order to de-sell more than 100 car showrooms in Islamabad

Why notices were not given as per the law before sealing the showrooms? CDA Director Building Control sought an explanation.

Islamabad High Court ordered CDA to deseal more than hundred vehicle showrooms.

Justice Babar Sattar issued the verdict on the petition of 25 car showroom owners.

The lawyers of the car showroom owners argued that the business of car dealers is regulated under the Islamabad Real Estate Agents and Motor Vehicle Dealers Ordinance. , CDA sealed car showrooms without notice which is not legally valid.

The court sought an explanation from the director of building control of CDA and asked why notices were not given as per the law before sealing the showrooms.
