Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi’s mother had warned them about taking their children to Afghanistan for the shooting of the film, the producer of the popular film Khuda Gwaha has said.
Superstar actor Amitabh Bachchan has faced many adverse situations during his film career, one of which he was injured on the sets of the film ‘Quli’.
Something similar happened during the shooting of his 1992 blockbuster Khuda Gwaha in Afghanistan.
Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi played two roles in the film.
Recently, the film’s producer Manoj Desai shared the impressions of Amitabh Bachchan’s mother Teji Bachchan and Sridevi’s mother Rajeshwari Younger before leaving for the shoot in Afghanistan.
Talking to the media, Manoj Desai said that Amitabh Bachchan and Sridevi had taken a huge risk by going to Afghanistan to shoot the scenes of the film.
He said that if Amitabh Bachchan or Sridevi were hit by even one bullet, everything would be over. It was a war-torn country.
Manoj Desai, repeating a story from the past, said that when I met Teji Bachchan, he said, “If something happens to Muna and Jaya wears a white saree, you will commit suicide there. Your wife will also wear a white saree.”
Apart from this, Manoj Desai also mentioned the threat received from Sridevi’s mother and said that Sridevi’s mother Rajeshwari Younger had said before going to the shooting that “if anything happens to my daughter, you will not come back either. Because if you come back, I will kill you.”
